In the summer
heat what could be nicer than the shaded path as it passes under
tall trees? God provides just such places where we can stop
and rest, or at least cool our heels as we continue along.
Such blessings are not small things, although in the heat and
stress of daily life, we may not think much of them. Try to
make a mental note of each such blessing when it comes your way.
Slow down just a moment to enjoy the shade, the refreshment of a
cool breeze, the song of a bird or the gentle scent of flowers on
the wind. God is reminding you of what is real and of what
He always has in His heart for you. |
