New artwork for 2008 VBS and Sunday School programs
If anything adds to the joyful
memories of childhood it is a good Bible-based children's
program in the local Christian fellowship. Working with
children can be trying as well as very rewarding, and it is
always plenty of work. But the true rewards, that no one
can see at first, is the spiritual work being accomplished
inside the hearts and minds of young lives.
In many ways, a neighborhood Bible
class, a weekly Sunday school, a summertime (or autumn) VBS
program becomes like a Happy train. It is an opportunity
for children to learn new and meaningful stories, to sing happy
songs, to engage in playful activities and fun projects.
Seldom is this kind of experience forgotten in any human life.
And only the Lord Himself knows what such good and patient work
will one day produce in the heart and life.
