I Belong to Jesus (Heart 2) -  Free Christian Graphic

©2009 GospelGifs

Original Christian graphic for GospelGifs by Jim Sutton: Image of a heart with the message: I belong to Jesus. The name of Jesus is in the heart.

Being a Christian is all about belonging. We know that we're not alone, not unloved, when we belong to Jesus Christ. God is a Mighty Savior, and a Refuge for our souls, but salvation in Christ is even more than that. Jesus is all about love. God's love for us, for you and for me as individuals. When you are in God's family, you belong.

Remember what Jesus asked Peter in the Gospel of John, chapter 21? He asked Peter if he loved Him. The walk with Jesus Christ is not just about faith or obedience or holiness, as important as these things are. It's about love and friendship and relationship and family. The kingdom of God is a family and we who belong to that kingdom are God's children. It's a family bond, a relationship of love, and it lasts forever.

Jesus cares about you and you are to follow Him out of love, not fear. To be "saved" is to be rescued from the days of fear and spiritual darkness. Now you belong to God, you belong to Jesus, you're a member of the family, part of the household, an heir with Christ. To be a Christian is to belong, to have a name in eternity that only Christ and you will know. (It's all in the Bible.)

I'm a Christian. I belong. I belong to Jesus. I belong in heaven. Forever.
